Tech Tip: Canvas Notifications

I actually have not set up my notificiations for Canvas. I had used them for D2L and I loved it. This was a great way for me to actually take the time and set it up! I usually just set up the notifications for important assignments and any announcement made by my professors.

Tech Tip: Canvas Calendar

Hey everyone I did not use the Canvas Calendar last semester because a majority of my course were still on D2L. This semester I am trying to be more organized and I feel this will really help me not procrastinate. I will now go between Canvas Calendar and my Google Calendar that I typically use. I really recommend using it!

Tech Tip: Reverse Image Search

I ended up choosing this tech tip because I actually needed to do it last week. This is a very easy trick in order to properly cite random images. All you have to do is go to Google Image Search and copy and paste your image!

Tech Tip: Google Timer

I actually have not heard of the Google Timer, but I think it could be really useful. I always find myself wanting breaks and a 30 minute break sometimes turns into an hour or two. This will really allow for me to stay on time and be more productive! I definitely recommend using it.

Tech Tip: Blog Templates

Hey everyone!

I ended up changing my template of my blog to one of the Travel templates. It is extremely easy to change. The steps are below:

1. Go to your own blog.
2. On the top right banner, select the Design button.
3. Click the Template tab on the left side of the page.
4. There you will find many different options to select from

It is that easy! Hope you find a good template for your blog.

Tech Tip: Canvas App Download

Since I am always signing into Canvas on my phone, I thought it would be convenient to have the app downloaded. It was very easy to download and easy to set up. I was able to go into my settings and change my notifications in order to send myself notifications when I receive grade changes. I am looking forward to using the app this semester.
